Algoma's award-winning boardwalk is handicapped accessible and runs along the Lake Michigan shore, connecting the Algoma Visitor Center and Algoma Marina. The city’s public beach is meticulously groomed and offers wonderful opportunities to enjoy Lake Michigan – frolic in the waves, relax in the sun, build sandcastles, collect rocks, play sand volleyball or have a picnic.
